Pop in and join us at our Islay Pottery and Café.
The pottery on sale reflects Rosemary’s experiences of Islay and island life. Each piece is individually hand painted before being glazed and fired, offering unique and original Islay inspired gifts.
Feeling creative? We invite you to come along to one of our painting workshops and translate your own holiday experiences onto a piece of pottery. A unique souvenir of your time on Islay.
The Pottery has a long history on the farm, having opened as a pottery workshop in the 1970s.
Fancy giving pottery painting a go? Feeling creative? Choose from a variety of unglazed bisque shapes, and we will help you whip up a masterpiece. Rosemary will guide you through her pottery painting workshop showing various techniques, inviting you to translate your holiday experiences and adventures onto pottery creating a lasting souvenir, or gifts to take home.
You can paint your own unique design onto a piece of pottery of your choice. She will then glaze and fire your finished pieces, ready for collection a few days later. In a rush? Not to worry, you can paint your piece with acrylics, and Rosemary will varnish it, ready for you to take home that day.
