Enjoy art and pottery painting workshops at Persabus

Come along and have a go at painting your very own ceramic piece at Persabus Pottery.

Or why not join one of our Art Experience Workshops  which we run at various times throughout the year. Offering creative journeys using mixed media, we offer group bookings.

The Creative Studio has lots of paints, sponges, brushes, fun writers, and more, to ensure you get the most from your painting experience.

Pottery Painting Workshops

For pottery painting, choose your piece from the wide selection. Rosemary will then guide you through various techniques before you head over to the Creative Studio where you can enjoy capturing your creative style onto ceramics.

Once finished, leave your pieces in the studio. They will be glazed and fired in the kilns and will be ready for collection a day or so later.

Or for an additional fee they can be posted on to you. (UK only)

There is no need to book (unless you are coming as a large group, in which case we will try and accommodate your party out-with opening hours)

Please be aware we operate on a first come basis so during peak times or very wet days do try and arrive early to ensure your space. We charge a studio fee of £2 per painter (please note on busy days studio time may be limited to one hour)

Open Tues – Fri:  12noon – 4pm     Sat:   12noon – 3 pm

Great hosts and great views nearby! As a lone traveler and someone who had taken up a last minute trip to Islay, the hosts – Donald and Rosemary Fletcher were a delightful company. They made me feel at home and even provided detailed information to visit nearby attractions including a map. Since I was keen to visit the Finlaggen ruins, and it was almost getting dark, Donald was kind enough to give me a lift one way to the historical site and also made sure that I had a torch light with me on my way back. We had a great Indian dinner with Donald and Rosemary always ready to entertain with the stories on the farm and beyond. Even though I was staying over for just a night, I was touched by the hospitality of the Fletchers. I would highly recommend anyone wishing to have a terrific islander experience to go have a stay at the Persabus farm! It is located a wee walk from the Port Askaig and located a few minutes’ walk from the Finlaggen ruins as well. Rosemary also runs a pottery craft workshop with fabulous art works too. Moreover, if you are just looking for a good humored stay, you won’t be disappointed either.
