All bookings must be confirmed with a deposit, the amount of which will be determined at time of booking.
The deposit paid will be non refundable however if you are unable to travel to Islay due to restrictions in place from the Scottish Government at the time of your stay we will allow you to change the dates of your stay and carry the booking forward to such time when restrictions are lifted and you will be able to travel to Islay again. This will be subject to availability and if moving to a peak time may incur additional fees if your booking was out of peak season.
In the event you have to extend your stay due to weather conditions or illness you will incur additional accommodation charges. Please make sure you have appropriate travel insurance
The deposit is payable by credit/debit card. The deposit payable at the time of booking will secure your reservation. For a one night stay payment in full is due at the time of booking. If a deposit is not received any provisional booking will be cancelled.
If you cancel your booking with us prior to your arrival date, we will make every effort to re-let the room, but if we are unable to do so, you may be liable to pay the full cost of your reserved stay.
We cannot accept any liability for personal property whilst in the accommodation. You may wish to take out appropriate insurance.
We recommend you take out TRAVEL INSURANCE for your protection.
In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking with us we will refund any booking payments you have made to us in full.

We assume you will take reasonable care of the house or room you are renting and we reserve the right to charge for any breakage, excessive cleaning or damage to the property whilst in your care.
The accommodation will be reserved for the number of people in your party at the time of booking. We would appreciate being notified of any changes to this number before your arrival.
