November and December are months filled with festive cheer.

Enjoy waking up to spectacular sunsets on beautiful crisp mornings as the beautiful pinks and purples spread a comforting glow across the land as daylight dawns.

Hike out across the hills, listen to the distant call of rutting stags. Enjoy beautiful windswept, deserted beaches. Head to the island’s distilleries for a warming dram.

Enjoy the warm welcome at Islay’s Christmas Markets and get that Christmas gift list ticked off.

Islay is simply beautiful at this time of year. The clarity of colours, the deep purples, bronzes and ochres of the landscape, with holly bursting with red berries, as the island gets into the spirit of festive cheer.

A warm welcome is awaiting at Persabus.
