Camping On Islay
We have taken the decision to keep our little Islay campsite closed for this season.
We look forward to welcoming you all back when circumstances allow.
Here at Persabus Farm, we offer ‘camping with breakfast’ on the farm for passing cyclists and walkers.
Our Little Islay Camp Site
Our tent pitches offer panoramic views of the Paps of Jura and the Sound of Islay. Each morning we will provide a breakfast roll filled with egg, bacon and potato scone to set you up for the day. What’s more, you can pick up some delicious home cooking from our Pottery Café. Picnic benches are on site. We can accommodate parties of up to sixteen people on the farm but are very happy to welcome lone travellers also.
Islay Camping Facilities
As well as the option of breakfast and our onsite café, we offer our campers access to a WC and wash hand basin. At this time, we do not offer shower facilities.
Perfect Camping Location
Persabus provides a perfect location for those going on the ferry, with the Port Askaig terminal (for ferries to the mainland or the neighbouring Isle of Jura) just a short walk or cycle away.
How to Book
Due to limited facilities, you must phone and book in advance to stay on the farm. Call 01496 840243 or 07771573423 and ask for Donald or Rosemary to inquire or email us here.
